LOCATION: Carlsbad, California

PROJECT SITE:  City of San Marcos residential area

EB MODELS UTILIZED:  EB-60

PROJECT/CHALLENGES:  Cover more than 3 acres of steep rocky slope with soil and wildflower blend for erosion control and beautification.  Other methods had failed.

PRODUCTS APPLIED:  Rexius EcoBlanket®, an erosion control blanket that completely covers and stabilizes denuded soil.  This EcoBlanket® was injected with wildflower seed to establish permanent vegetation. 

QUANTITIES/DISTANCE:  Over 1500 cubic yards applied across a 200 foot high rock slope.  Used both a manlift and rappelling methods to complete project.

COMPANY PROFILE:  Green Earth Mulch Distributors is a wholesale distributor of compost and mulch products. They represent a number of high end mulch products including the Rexius EcoBerm® and EcoBlanket®.  The own and operate two Express Blower™ units.
