The Medium Duty (MD) and Heavy Duty (HD) blower options were developed at our customers’ requests to accommodate much heavier and more abrasive products on a consistent basis. These options are only available on our self-contained units (see EB vs TM) and are predominantly used for soils, compost, and aggregates.
The MD upgrade package will include the new John Deere Final Tier 4/Stage IV* PowerTech™ PSS 6.8L Diesel Engine Model: 6068HFC09 rated at 300 hp. The HD package is being upgraded to the John Deere Final Tier 4/Stage IV* PowerTech™ PSS 9.0L Diesel Engine Model: 6090HFC09 rated at 350 hp. Both options also include heavier duty blower and hydraulics packages.

*Due to US Environmental Protection Agency regulations and European Union Emission Standards Commission, Express Blower has been required to convert to Tier 4 Final/Euro Stage IIIA/B compliant nonroad diesel engines with the advanced exhaust emissions standards.
