The Environmental Protection Agency’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program requires that construction sites control pollutants in storm water runoff. Erosion control blankets and sediment control berms can be an integral part in meeting regulations. And with an Express Blower, blankets and berms have never been easier to install or more effective.
With the purchase of an Express Blower equipped with the optional Supplemental Injection System, you can seed the blanket or berm for permanent vegetative support. You may also choose to become part of the nationally recognized and tested Rexius Erosion Control System that includes the EcoBlanket® and EcoBerm® applications.*
Proven as one of the most effective methods available to stop erosion in its tracks, an EcoBlanket with Microblend® replaces the natural layer of humus that protects undisturbed soils. It installs in one easy step and conforms to almost any terrain. It can be installed with or without seed, but the Supplemental Injection System is still required for this method.
An EcoBerm with Microblend® can be used virtually anywhere silt fence is used. However unlike problematic silt fence, an EcoBerm has been proven to be 99% effective, is entirely organic, easily installed, requires little or no maintenance, and doesn't need to be torn out and discarded in a landfill.
