Project Scope/Challenges:  The Golden Ears Bridge is a 1.1 billion dollar project involving the construction of a 1 kilometer long (slightly more than one-half mile) high-level bridge spanning the Fraser river. The project also involves the development of 13 km (just over 8 miles) of roadway and infrastructure in fisheries-sensitive areas adjacent to the river. Denbow was contracted to provide erosion and sediment control as well as revegetation services for the life of the 3 year project. The project includes specific environmental commitments to the government authorities responsible for fisheries and the environment.

Products Applied: EcoBlanket®, Terraseeding™, Filtersoxx™, Growing Medium (manufactured onsite by Denbow), and Composted Bark Mulch.

Quantities/Distance: 35,000 square yards of EcoBlanket®; 23,000 square yards of Terraseeding™; 3,200 linear feet of Filtersoxx™; also includes 19,000 cubic yards of growing medium and 3,200 cubic yards of composted bark mulch.
