PROJECT SITE: Sandlake-Galloway Road Project near Tillamook, Oregon

PROJECT/CHALLENGES: The project is a 7.7 mile US Department of Transportation construction project located 11 miles south of Tillamook. The road runs from off Hwy 101 to some recreational sand dunes located on Forest Service land. The type of construction involved includes drainage, large culverts, 2 bridges, large cuts and fills, base rock and paving. Rexius was contracted to provide immediate erosion and sediment control, slope stabilization, and final establishment of vegetation. There was a 2:1 average slope ratio for the EcoBlanket™.

PRODUCTS APPLIED: EcoBlanket® with Terraseeding™ and EcoBerm®.

QUANTITIES/DISTANCE: Total of 10.25 acres with 2791 cubic yards of EcoBlanket® plus 200+ feet of EcoBerm™.
